October is the month for the celebration of Literacy Week and United Nations! The children here in Gingerbread are one with others in giving high value for reading and love for peace and harmony not just among countries but even among themselves. Last October 17, the school had its launch of the Literacy and United Nations Month through the story, “Whoever You Are” by Mem Fox. Throughout the following weeks, the kids are in for so much treats! Exciting activities await them for this months’ double celebration!
