It’s never too early to start! Our Cupcakes class our introductory class designed for the little ones. In this class, our little toddlers are exposed to the activities our bigger kids do, with the introduction of Individualized Instruction.
All activities aim to:
- Hone the students’ Fine Motor Skills
- Promote Self-Help
- Encourage participation in various group activities
- Develop a sense of independence
2 yrs to 3 yrs & 2 months
Cream Puffs
Monday to Friday
The Cream Puffs classis where the students’ independence starts to be more evident because of their exploratory nature. Play time is used to not only tap on the various senses but also to let them pretend play!
Individualized instruction at this level targets basic concepts such as letter and number recognition, identifying parts of one’s body, and all are done at the child’s own pace.
3 yrs & 3 mos to 4 yrs
Jelly Beans
Monday to Friday
Letter and Numbers! The foundations of early reading start in this level. They develop letter and phonemic awareness that will guide them in the next level of early literacy.
At Gingerbread, we strive to make even Reading and Math as fun as possible. We teach our kids so that they enjoy activities that help retain information and concepts learned.
4 yrs to 5 yrs
Lemon Drops
Monday to Friday
They’re getting bigger!
Our Lemon Drops continue to develop their emergent literacy skills and are also able to read simple words already. They learn to handle and read short story books and read high frequency words by sight.
5 yrs to 6 yrs
Sugar Plums
Monday to Friday
Ready for Big school yet? The Sugar Plums are!
Our Sugar Plums end the year equipped with the abilities to perform well in Elementary school. Though primarily a progressive institution, Gingerbread House of Learning aims to prepare our bigger kids with skills to help them excel when they transition to Grade 1.
